Breast cancer is type of cancer that develops from the breast cells. Cancer cells develop in the lobules or in the inner lining of milk producing ducts in women. Cancer is caused by malignant tumors and has a tendency to spread in different parts of the body. The breast cancer is categorized into two major forms of cancer:
- Ductal carcinoma: the cancer that develops in the inner lining of milk ducts are known as ductal carcinoma
- Lobular carcinoma: the cancer that develops in the lobules is called as lobular carcinoma.
